The Nixon Seminar on Conservative Realism and National Security gathered on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 with special guest Ambassador Kay Bailey Hutchison to discuss the future of NATO.
The Honorable Kay Bailey Hutchison was the United States Permanent Representative to NATO from 2017 to 2021. Prior to that, she served as a United States Senator from Texas from 1993 to 2013.
Along with co-chairs Secretary Mike Pompeo and Ambassador Robert O’Brien, Ambassador Hutchison led a discussion on the role of NATO amid the Russia-Ukraine War, and its future considering the intentions of Finland and Sweden to break decades of neutrality and join the alliance.
