January 2023 marks the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Paris Peace Accords by the Nixon administration and the end of American involvement on the ground in the Vietnam War. The Nixon Seminar examines lessons learned from the end of the Vietnam War and compare that with the American withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2022. What lessons should the U.S. consider now regarding support for Ukraine? What defines victory in a 21st century global conflict, and what are the forces necessary to achieve it?
